With enthusiasm, Walden Lake Early Learning Center’s staff embraces what childhood is all about—providing children the guide rails to discover their strengths, explore their environments, and learn the social-emotional skills that will help them become confident and capable learners and good community citizens.

Preschoolers are learning self-expression and how to process big emotions. Sometimes it’s fits of laughter, and at other times, it’s complex feelings of shyness or discomfort a young child must navigate.
We make great efforts towards equipping pre-academic skills, but we hold equally important to help children develop social-emotional and cognitive skills that promote positive lives.

We recognize many of our families begin work early, have to get siblings to different locations, or need afternoon flexibility.
At Walden Lake Early Learning Center, we offer early drop-off for Walden Lake Elementary Students (7 am). Our staff members walk children safely to school.
If your elementary student needs an after-school placement, we’ll meet them on campus after school to walk to our center. After-school students will receive:
Homework help
Creative activities and play opportunities
Opportunities for peer interaction
This option allows many pre-k students with wrap-around afternoon hours and their elementary siblings to be in the same pick-up location for your convenience.
